Primark EPC Southampton

Primark, Southampton is a retail unit that's been stripped out, renovated and fit out by our client - MITIE. E2 were approached to undertake a fit out EPC of the building.

The building has been done out to a high standard using air handling units fed from boilers accompanied by chillers; to provide the heating and cooling needed for the building.

We undertook a site survey to gather information about the building to produce the EPC certificate, working with the M&E contractors to ensure that we had accurate efficiencies of all the equipment used within the building, including the lighting design.

As can be seen from the models, this is a large store based over 4 stories with an unusual building shape. Once the survey was completed we again worked with our client to make sure all the data was accurate in regards to heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting to ensure that the EPC is as accurate as it could be.

The EPC was produced within an acceptable timescale and the client was very happy with the turnaround and the result.
